Announcing the winners of the Center youth program's Anti-Smoking Ad Contest!

Students from area high school and college gay/straight alliances (GSAs) competed for the chance to have their work printed here and to receive cash awards for their organizations.

The ads were judged by a panel of artists on May 28 at a special reception at the Center. Leading up to that event, youth program members learned about the power of marketing and the dangers of smoking. They were given the charge of designing an ad that would encourage other LGBT youth to quit (or never start) smoking.
